With a long-term strategic aim of economic convergence, India-Japan relations have been strengthening. During the 2018 Annual Summit, both Prime Ministers signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC), setting the groundwork for Japan-India cooperation.

Japanese ecosystem boasts of companies excellent on the hardware, manufacturing, engineering, and industrial side, while India has strengths in software and human resources.
